APRN Petros graduated from Mt. San Antonio College in 2008 with his Associates degree in
nursing. He began his career as an emergency room nurse at the UCLA Ronald Reagan
Medical Center from 2008 till 2011 when he was promoted to Charge Nurse. He then set his
sights on Las Vegas and transferred to Desert Parkway Behavioral Health Hospital where he
started his career focus in psychiatric care as a Charge Nurse within the hospital. He was soon
promoted to Nursing Supervisor in 2014, though within 2 years, due to his excellence for patient
care, APRN Petros quickly became the Assistant Director of Nursing in 2016. He held this
position until 2017, when he was promoted once again as the Chief Nursing Officer in 2017.
During his time as Chief Nursing Officer, he continued his education at Touro University,
graduating top of his class with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 2019. With his dedication to
success, APRN Petros graduated from Maryville University with his Masters in 2022. As of
June 2022, APRN Petros became a Board Certified Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse
Practitioner splitting his time to see patients at Psycare of Las Vegas, Nevada Health Alliance
and Desert Parkway Behavioral Health Hospital where he specializes in addiction medicine,
suboxone treatment, and medication management.
